- In Stage Four: The Determined Trader as defined in FF thread (A New Trader's Journey to Success).
Started out paper trading the US Stock market online back in late 90's for 1 Year and was hooked. Went live with Etrade, mostly trading in the OTCBB and Pink Sheets. Then dabbled in Options. Nowadays the stock market requires deep due diligence and even then can't trust it. My past experiences gave me good times as well as bad, but the lessons learned from back then have helped me jump into Forex. Forex reminds me of the crazy OTCBB days with a mix of Options. I demo traded for almost a year but not with full attention. I went live doing good just using fibs and simply drawing a square of the fib range and trading it my 1st month live and was blown out as someone has put it in this forum, the Geitner Gap up in April 09. But the value was in the lesson. So now I am refunded and getting back on track. Thanks to all for the insight here.
