Hey, the same firms that were around in 2020 went I started with props.........imagine that.
- pipmaster77 replied 29 hr ago
lol....if I tried to lose $201, I guarantee I'd win that trade.
- pipmaster77 replied 37 hr ago
Not to mention, adding to winners is a 100% sure fire way of hitting your trailing DD (before you hit buffer) waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay quicker if trade moves against you.
- pipmaster77 replied 37 hr ago
Conditions wise, the 5%ers are the only FOREX prop worth any effort now. They also pay and have the longest reputation. Otherwise, trade futures.
- pipmaster77 replied 38 hr ago
Very true, I break my orders up KNOWING I am not dead on and I leave "breathing" room for trade to move against me, where I then fire more entries. Technically, it is adding to losers, however, it is part of my MM plan before I take the position. I ...

Have you received the apex payout that was approved back in April?
- pipmaster77 replied May 13, 2024
Difference is no refund of eval/challenge AND ongoing subscription for evals and live (if one doesn't pay the lifetime) AND payout caps. I may be unrealistically optimistic, but I think the futures firms have a far more sustainable model.
- pipmaster77 replied May 10, 2024
Time to switch to futures.....obviously you can trade, you don't need the stress of working your ass off and not getting paid. Keep milking them as long as they remain solvent, but I'd fire up some apex if I were you.
- pipmaster77 replied May 8, 2024
is this on the same free trial account you posted earlier?
- pipmaster77 replied May 7, 2024
so did you receive the 2,000 times 15, my understanding with apex is if you blow them up before payout, you don't get paid. Although I believe it to be payout approval, not actual payout. I cannot believe you are going to go back into forex prop ...

Yes, the simplest solution is to toughen the barrier of entry. Imagine if the barrier of entry wasn't so low for those forex props......we would more than likely still be happily trading at MFF and FTMO today. Competition is good, of course, but it ...

But, on the plus side......the border is wide open and we are now up to 24 genders......sorry, had to do it.
- pipmaster77 replied May 7, 2024
trading thru the 5th, paid on 15th...thru the 20th, paid on 30 or 31........isn't your payout from period ending April 20, should have received April 30th? The PAs you're working on now are your backups, correct? You have so much going on, I lose ...
- pipmaster77 replied May 7, 2024
Yes, sometimes I find myself forcing things when I normally wouldn't take a trade. Not only does it skew the consistency, you need 10 trading days or you miss the payout, then it is monthly vs. bi-weekly. When I have maxed all of the accounts at all ...

You make some great points....for about the cost of a "traditional" 100K challenge (spread over a year), you get MT4, all of the instruments, build a track record, trade real funds and no need to worry about not being paid.
- pipmaster77 replied May 7, 2024
I remember that post by Josh.
- pipmaster77 replied May 7, 2024
You're doing forex, correct? Futures is also an option. I'm sure the indices are available as cash instruments on the forex side?
- pipmaster77 replied May 7, 2024
mostly vwap.
- pipmaster77 replied May 7, 2024
Understatement of the year.
- pipmaster77 replied May 7, 2024
I agree with the rinse of trash. I was discouraging using 95% of these firms long before it became a problem. Can you elaborate on the futures model not resolving, but prolonging the problem.
