Building confidence on AC (haven't traded it a lot before), will look to reload short on next upswing and might look to start slowly increasing my position sizes on it

Patience is a virtue but I probably need to increase my position sizes on this pair as it is giving me better profits and less drawdown than other pairs.

Far from perfect trading but this completed sequence on EurNzd shows that when you get your position sizing correct (something Davit is big advocate of) you can hold trades for a long time and close them in profit. fyi: have stripped away pivots ...

I'm playing with the colour and width settings to try and get the trade plots to show up better on my chart as it can be hard to see some of my trades given they are longer term and there is a lot of other colours on the chart just from pivots etc. ...

Might want to take another look at your calendar. Mine shows two more US red flags in just under 10 hours

sorry, you are in for an anticlimax as you haven't realised ..... & I don't mean the douchebag reference, it's just dramatic illustration and urban dictionary is what came up.

On 4 hour chart we are into a period of indecision since marked higher low so I then look to the daily chart - until we get a break of approx 8060 high or approx 7800 low it is not clear whether the move from 8060 to 7800 was a pullback or reversal. ...

I can't speak for how darknecess handles their trades but for me doing the longer term thing means being prepared to hold losses and add to them. Thus an example from 4hr chart shown might be to have gone short around 8050, take some profit around ...

2001 not a good example - see ff chart below, high for month .5291, low .4815

I understand that Davit's system gives higher probability of success on AU longs at present but just tread carefully (perhaps smaller positions than usual) this month, there's something about May price action in 6 of last 7 years..... High to Low ...

For anyone as clueless as I was about the existence of a thread clipboard that Davit has referred to a couple of times, please see attachment

Thanks heaps for your help. Anyone else who may be having trouble might learn from my mistake - little things matter. When downloading Davit's template and indicator's I renamed several of them to have a D for Davit at the start so they were grouped ...

Been trading for 5+ years but new to MT4 platform. Believe I've followed page 1 instructions but don't understand why TDI & Angleator are showing up different? Any ideas?

Price failed to set new high on 4 hr chart so short term continues between 7606 & 7696 with no clear direction. Buy near the bottom, sell near the top if that be your plan. I trade longer term and are short.

Not sure what you are seeing in COT, but if it's that large specs are long, have a look at how they were positioned for most of the April / May fall this year

I see in a different post you have been short since May and I too am short but am curious about your take on weekly and monthly 'where the trend has been down for a while'. I see a higher low on monthly, both a higher high and higher low on weekly ...

I would have thought the basics are pretty easy: 1. Choose your timeline 2. Take snapshot of recent price movement 3. Buy in roughly bottom 35-40% of the chart, sell in roughly top 35-40% of the chart 4. If you use stop losses set them outside the ...

Hard to know exactly when you are talking about given your chart doesn't have X or Y axis labels but I'll assume you are talking about either 27/4/16 CPI news or 3/5/16 RBA Cash Rate (Australian dates). Based on my charts (attached) or FF charts you ...

I agree that April high wasn't a major reversal - I think it was resumption of trend. If you are wanting to go long at current price it won't necessarily be a bad move as below chart suggests your A1, A2 area will be revisited, it just may take up ...
