how do I stop it trading on candle 3? I'm using star's set file, but I often see TDI crosses happen on candle 1 and the EA doesn't enter the trade until candle 3. This has got to be wrong.

V12 - Turning off candle direction probably isn't a good idea. This one traded on candle 4 of the move. I'm going to upgrade to V14 and turn candle direction back on

Possible bug in the BE setting? This is how that trade from earlier exited, seemed to get about 4 pips up and just exit at 3 pips profit.

another 3rd candle trade (it was also the 4th candle after the cross). Trading only on candle 1 or 2 is a strict BigE TMS rule. Should be fixable by turning off the requirement to close over the 5EMA (as seller discussed earlier).

Possible bug v8 — 1st picture - TMA D1 reporting downtrend? - surely a bug? 2nd picture - Same chart but I've added the supertrend indicator set the D1 (none repainting version). I'm not saying supertrend is anything magical but its probably ...

Even if it doesn't make it as a profitable EA it'll make a bloody good alert system for TMS traders. The USD/CAD trade today is a good example of where a bit of an eyeball check of the daily could have saved a failed trade. Although in a strong ...

A bit of extra detail on BigE's great trade from earlier on. The first chart is how the higher TF (4HR) looked at roughly the same time. Ok we have a red candle and we're in a downtrend, but look how PA has hit that big number support area and ...

only trade so far today +60 pips. The first chart is how the trade looked to me when I took it (entry marked with red line). Second is how it was just after I exited (TP). Nice bounce off that strong support area and a bounce of that trend line. ...

This is what a sweet setup looks like when it forms, strong candle, perfect angle on the green, stochastic agreement. No support nearby. Sure its against the daily trend but look how many times price has bounced down from that area.

I hope you all caught this move today - I decided to bale out with 80 pips in the bag.

Yes its all relative to the TF and pair, we don't measure candles as such, just eyeball them.
