Guys who sell the myth that trading is simple can't be trusted.Its not simple.One must be aware of lot of things such as Time,News,momentum,sentiment,PA and combine that with pivots you are ready for battle
Simplicity comes after these things become automatic intuitive.I always scan my news its something to me like weatherperson looking at the radar.Anyway perhaps I rattled too much here.I'll stop

Hello, Davit!

I took a screenshot of a rejection from S38 area. There was an IB break, and TDI RD. The thing is that the IB break and the TDI cross up are on live candle. That means that if the candle that broke the IB high closes bearish, the TDI cross up will be no more. What would you do in this situation: would you trust the live candle setup, or would you take the conservative approach and wait for the candle to close?

Is there any reason why your daily open is set for 5pm EDT? Oanda's daily open is 12a.

Davit is on the East Coast and uses Oanda(who I also use) whose daily open of 12a. His template has an open of 5p EDT so I didn't know if there were any significance for the difference. Just curious.

I am still learning the basics but things like this make me realize how big the learning curve in forex really is, I had no idea I had to re-enter the weekly start/end dates on my indi's each week - isn't that something that is normally automated? Please realize I am not criticizing here, am just trying to understand why its not hard coded for 'previous week', with a GMT offset for broker hours as a one-off initial setup or something like that?

Can you also please explain how you know that 00:00 hours is equivalent to GMT +3? Without any instructions on setup I would have assumed that 00:00 was actually GMT and that I should be setting 03:00 for a GMT + 3 ?

1.do you wait for setup to form on a higher time frame around the reversal zone like R61,R71,R100 then dig down to lower time frame to take the trade or when you spot a setup on any time frame like 30min you take it around the reversal zone

2.i know you trade news do you trade before the news release of after the news release.if you are in a trade before a news release do you ride the news with the trade

3.do you look at divergent also when trading

My base TF is 30min but when I see a weakness I jumped on it even on 15min but PA must be in good zone 61+ unless its ranging.Ranging pairs tend bounce from 38 to 38
Its important to understand I repeat that price action is important TDI turn important because price can get through zones as we have seen on EA.Part of EA move was fueled by interest rate cut as well so there is fundemetal drive behind.
I don't trade news.Prefer to be out most times specially NFP.One usually finds good opportunities after.
I do look for divergence but it has been my experience that its hard trading meaning what looks Div on H1 may look very normal on H4 and nothing at all on D.I like dives that show same up to Daily.
Its not something I put great impoetrance.To me most important is looking at Price Action in zones.

Its good idea going back to same chart I posted last week and how it turned out (this is most educational)
EG dropped nice 150pips from R100 bounced from close to 38
Initial TDI cross highlighted and box I drew still on the chart.
