The estimated annual inflation of the CPI in April 2024 is 3.3%, according to the flash indicator prepared by the NSI. This indicator provides a preview of the CPI which, if confirmed, would mean an increase of one tenth in its annual rate, since in March this variation was 3.2%. This evolution is mainly due to the rise in gas prices, compared with the decrease in April 2023, and to the increase in food prices, which is higher than last year.
