I love the 2 trade at the same price method. It allows you lock in some profit with the first trade and continue to ride the trend with the second. You could also achieve a similar effect with opening a larger trade and then carrying out a partial ...

USDJPY Trades went well yesterday. My trailing stop was hit on the open trade which was a bit of a shame as the USD has continued to slide against the Yen in the evening and this morning. Today's trades were Long USDCAD at 1.31088, one hit the SL ...

Ah, thanks. It was my low starting balance that was screwing up my Backtest. Attached is a v1.4.1 test - 10K starting balance, starting date 10/02/2010 until yesterday, QD 420, trade every 2 candles, Lot size Progression 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 0.6, 0.8, ...

Hey Denya, What time frames are you testing? When I backtest with either QD 300 or 420 my Backtests fall over on both the 2nd and 6/7th of January 2015. Also, what data are you using?

No activity here for a couple of weeks... I've read through about 65% of the thread, watched the Video and run through some of the historical trades on my charts and this looks like a great system. Massive Thanks to Ochuko for all his hard work in ...

So not a great start to the day. Went Long EURJPY and stopped out for minus 375 & 370 points. I got filled just before London Open, the trades then take a 25 point peak at profit and then hit the SL's. The 15M EMA's looked to be in the right order ...

Hi Raylin and Co, I tried to get going on GBPUSD (both 15M and 1H Resistance Livelli's lining up) and EURUSD today with BuyStops but wasn't feeling it. USD is looking strong this morning rebounding from yesterdays slide and the EUR flat if not ...

Today I took Longs on both GPBUSD and GBPCHF but closed 4 out of 4 trades prematurely. I was set up to go Long on EURJPY and GBPJPY as well but have now since closed down these buy stops. Buy GPBUSD at 1.55844 -> 1.55856 = 1.2 Pips (Manual Close ...

Frustrating morning as I picked both EURJPY and USDJPY to take off this morning and they both did but I couldn't figure out where to get my Buy Stops in as the most recent Resistance Livelli was already broken before London Open. (At time of Writing ...

Hi All, Cracking EA, Vlad! I've noted that if you place a manual trade say at like 0.05 Lots in the same window then the EA will use this as the basis for calculating the lot size on the next trade = 0.051. So I guess you need a slightly better ...

I think you can figure this out from the price at the moment. 98 + 133 = 231 Points or 23 Pips.

Initially 100 Point SL on both EURAUD Trades at 136.392 (this is just a habit) which I then visually adjusted down to just below one of the Livelli support lines for the Static 100 Point TP Trade. For the "Open" Profit trade I set a Trailing stop - ...

Buy EURJPY at 136.492 -> 136.590 = 98 Points (TP Hit - Short changed myself 2 points!) Buy EURJPY at 136.492 -> 136.635 = 133 Points (Manual Close) I was trying to get a couple of longs in on the EURAUD as well but there was no gap between where I ...

Trades taken were according to this threads strategy (see Post #187). The second screens were from different windows illustrating my exit reasons for same trades.
