when its per second financing, short term trader complained and want to switch to those broker which charged daily swap as they will be paying $0. when its daily swap, another group of people complained. so how??

I don't think there is irregularities. I have been trading fx for many years and its normal for such rates at the end of the year. Furthermore, theres Christmas, New year and BOJ long holiday.

FX Spot generally trades on a T+2 basis (with the exception of T+1 currencies for example CAD or TRY). This is why you have the weekend roll.
