It will. But no one knows when.
- stribijev replied Sep 2, 2009
I see it that way, too. But no more trading today, I suppose (for me in GMT +1:00) NY session is almost over and 'dead' market hours are coming.

I didn't not intend to promote anyone, LOL. Have you got a better idea? BTW, 1.4164 is 61% Fib of this last move up.

"EUR/USD will likely be a buy on dips toward 1.4160 in Asian trade today as investors digest Fed statement, which doesn't change growing view that global economy brightening up vs start of year, says Bank of NZ FX strategist Danica Hampton" Dow ...

No broker will want to pay you if you hedge, like selling and buying the same currency pair at the same time. We would have been all millionaires

I did not trade on Monday. The whole day, buddy. So, it is OK you do not trade some days. Selling E/U now aiming at 1.22 is not actual, I would not suggest that. Read former posts. Anyway, look out for some major news. Today we'll have some nice ...

Alg uses 15-50 SL in general, I suppose he uses 15 pip SL for EUR/USD.
- stribijev replied Jan 27, 2009
I just wanted to point out that Alg also says to sell EUR/USD near 1.3247, so it seems to be a good level for a short

Looks like the price wants to retest 1.3085...
- stribijev replied Jan 19, 2009
Quite possible. Right now it seems to be time for retracement, maybe till 1.3240 (our today's pivot on my chart and 50% Fib of today's last move down on M30 chart) during the Asian session, and then should go south. I supposed EU would be on the ...

I would look for longs a bit higher. But it looks the stagnation period might, in fact, go down to 1.3150. image

"Freaky friday" - LOL! FxPro - my broker - increases margin requirement on Fridays in the last hour of trading, and not in vain: those who are afraid the gap on Monday are closing their positions. Seeing the bearish trend (notwithstanding the ...

I would not sell today. It is Friday, everyone is closing their positions, short I believe, thus, EU is on the rise till the end of the day, IMHO.

As far as whole numbers are concerned, there are nuances, I still think that the whole areas around such "pivots" should be closely observed. I would say. +-15 pips. PA usually helps identify if the S/R levels worked or not. If they worked, the PA ...

I agree. I even supposed we'd see 1.25xx at the end of the week, but seeing the volatility today prevents me from believing that. Still, there still is room for a further fall, just have a look how EU is balancing before a good move. Today it was ...

Maybe url ? It shows rates on Sunday for sure several hours before my FxPro broker opens.
- stribijev replied Jan 4, 2009
You were almost right, the price was at 1.3900 34 minutes ago, then it went down a bit, and now come back to 1.3900, but wants to go down... Seems like PA is really down today.

I do not believe news is now capable of stirring Forex markets much in case they are not connected with some speech made by a, say, FOMC member or any other person of such calibre. It seems to me the usual "technical" way is still the best nowadays.
