if your short its going to spike a bit here I think, it's going to go down but it might take tour through 1.25xx again before it goes.

I'd say I have to agree. Your charts are close.

Are you sure you're looking at the daily chart, on the hourly the plot for the 61.8 is a bit off 71 is correct but it would seem like its about to raise off the 61.8 then,

Looks like it's stopping at the 1.25063 line, which if you look at the fib retrace for this spot is dead on the 61.8 retracement line, just saying, seems to be a point of interest. I'd look for the reversal of the up trend here. Is this correct for ...

I wouldn't lose any sleep waiting for a serious correction here, about 200 points is all we are going to get. If you wait till the end of the month it should be erased quickly. The Euro bearishness will extend until April of next year. No idea where ...

I'd have to agree I think the Euro apocalypse is on hold this week, why are so some many traders long right now? It's like 70-80% long on most of the dealer books I can see, isn't this extremely bullish? Or are people so short term that it flips ...

Curious wouldn't the bank of Japan being closed mean that it's a down day, I mean isn't most of this movement being caused by centeral bank intervention to being with? Just saying, charts be damned there's usually large players making the traffic.
- Eda replied Nov 21, 2014
Yeah forex trading tends be like playing in traffic, in the rain, on a busy 8 lane highway at rush hour, one wrong step and your a pancake.

Anyone have any good entry points for going long the JPY right now? It's not a pair I trade regularly and the fundamentals don't make any sense right now. I'm looking at the technicals trying to find a balance but the this is crazy all over right ...

anyone have a good entry level for the USD/JPY, it's up and down I can't get a good feel for where I should be looking at it, the fundamentals are that it will go up but because of the massive leap in the past week I'm scared to name an entry point, ...

True story I caused the drop in the EUR/USD, last night I realized one of my credit lines was open and about to jump from 4% to 12%, I decided to close about 10K from my EUR short to cover it. So I did that about 6 am this morning ( I'm in Germany ...

There's about to be some German news, which just from experience here is usually positive, I won't trade either way but it might push it up some in the short run, I think we might see 1.26xx + this week, but I do think it's going down soon, perhaps ...

I'm not doing much of anything, I don't trade that often, but I am curious why would you go long now? Some minor positive news for German and a muted FOMC report is not enough to make any sharp decisions on I think. I would wait till Friday when the ...
- Eda replied Nov 19, 2014
I think we will see a generally muted response for the rest of the month with the EUR ranging for a while, mild consolidation with an extended sideways trade range. The FOMC news was not negative, it just lacked clear intentions to raise rates, that ...

If the FOMC news in the next few days changes the picture to indicate the interest rates are changing slower and the EU decides not to pursue QE it's possible that my views will change. Look at EU employment and inflation numbers. There's a very ...
- Eda replied Nov 18, 2014
not much has changed for the Euro, it's still going to go down, we should see some clarity in the next few days, for it to have reached 1.25 in Oct, then bounce back to here clearly indicates a fundamental trend. Some of Europes numbers look good, ...

Since everyone is putting charts and numbers up I'll put a picture of my high tech method of making money in FOREX, me at the office, trading what's that? One trade once a year, granted I had a 300 pip SL range to back up the trade, but my time ...

There seems to be a lot of speculation on the movement of the EUR if and when the ECB chair speaks today, I don't have fancy technical software or even a very advanced knowledge of charting. I do however understand the gravity of unemployment, it's ...

There really is no winning here other then staying in long term trades that are trending. I'm in because I started up at 1.35xx in July and won't exit completely until 1.20xx is broken which should be in Jan 2015. My big question is 2015-16 trading, ...

Does Draghi usually have a weird contrary spike on the EUR/USD? I still can't find the fundamentals driving this spike, the only thing I'm left with is thinking is MM trying to clear there books before heading down to 1.20xx, I do see a pattern ...
