I use three brokers for redundancy and diversifying my funds, Dukascopy, MBT and FXCM Active Trader. My recommendation is to stick with commission based and ECN brokers.

I think all pairs go through trending and non-trending cycles. It also depends on what Time Frame you looking at. A pair going sideways on daily can be easily trending in 15 mins. You can also read this article here url
