Watch a few of Mr. Pip's previously posted videos. It should greatly help with understanding swing identification. After knowing how to properly spot swings, the patterns will start emerging. Best of luck.

Your swing identification doesn't appear to be correct. If you are trading H1 TF, your yearly bias is irrelevant. Trade what you see within that TF. I would look for patterns within the Main Swing and then after the dominant swing is developed, ...

I wouldn't enter it. If there had been a greater pull back against the preceeding swing, I would probably consider it. Momentum on that TF is up.

EURUSD M5, Aggressive C Buy Order Flow up as per main swing. Pull back to 38.2, which shows strong uptrend indication. Entered slightly above 78.6 retrace of AB swing. Target is 127.2 AB expansion.

kudos on your analysis. A butterfly at this top is a strong reversal pattern. Also observing ABCD as mentioned by Bary. ABCD - EURUSD H4
