yup… markets we’re looking for a rate cut, got nothing and it seems it’s still unclear when it will be. Market thinking back to groundhog days. My TP is now at 12650 for the rest of the week. If it gets there I will go watch shopping again

problem seems to be the noise from the press calling for cuts. Hence the drop. However any hint of a rate cut delay could send us back to 126. It is the major data of the week if I’m not mistaken.

news feed saying BoE might be more dovish hence the drop over the last few days. Tomorrow could be back to 12550 or back down to 12380 depending on where we end the day. bulls are failing to gain any momentum to even push above 125

The pound dropping nearly 130 pips Mondays high gives me a liquidity grab for tomorrow. Also therefore if tomorrows BoE announcement is as expected I can’t see a big spike up to 127 as the push could only cover 50-150 pips.

Another quiet day in.. might be a bit early to say but if it’s like yesterday we may have seen the days low. Last weeks high will be the area for me to short unless the BoE on Thursday is hawkish
