I took a loss on this one today. Not sure if it was just a bad entry or I should have went to BE quicker. I thought it was a pull back from the uptrend. I got in on the break, it shot up some 3 pips and reversed right away. Risk was 8 pips, the ...

Here is a setup I'm looking at trying to start playing. It just formed. No trend as the BB is FLAT. Pin bar off an extreme. Basically this is the same as picking a bottom/top of a range. When the ranging is confirmed, it should be easy pips right? ...

Here is the one for me from today. Entry logic: up trend, pull back to the middle of the BB right into previous support (indicated by shaded yellow). I'm trying to refine my entries a bit, by basically making sure there is some previous support + ...

Trade from this morning ended at BE. Downtrend, saw a pull back to the upper BB with a BEOB, and went short on the close. After retracing higher, price went down fast but missed my TP by 3 pips and reversed. Not wanting to risk a loss I moved my SL ...

Decided to give this a whirl on GBPUSD. Only issue compared to EURUSD is the spread. On my platform its 3x the spread on EURUSD. If you have a TP of 10 pips, thats 30% less profit with the same TP, or increasing TP by 3pips for the same R:R. Anyway, ...

Here is one from earlier this morning. Easily went to 1:1. What you do with it after that is up to your trade management style. Strong trend, nice pull back, good PA at a nice area, and off it goes into profit land...

Man, I feel like I'm spamming this thread with tons of posts lately... I'm just excited to apply what I've been doing on the larger TFs to the 5min and get a much better ROI due to lower SL. Here is another I took tonight. I managed to take ...

I would say its an "A" setup, but not an "A+" setup...see below attached chart for what would have been an ideal setup for *me*... I would have liked to see it go lower than the previous low/support bars.

Another trade, with notes on my reasons for entry and management plan. In hindsight..the one I missed was probably the better one to take, but hindsight being 20/20 and all....

Just to show what my analysis would be seeing that chart. Again, not criticizing, just offering my opinion. So based on my analysis, I would be looking for dips to go long, not short. I give a lot of weight to the "time" factor... if 12hrs show the ...

I think the problem is there isn't enough history there to determine the trend. I think these setups should only be taken in a CLEAR trend. If the trend is not clear, I wouldn't take it, unless there was serious DIV building up. In your chart, I see ...

In your chart, the trend is not down, its up. That downward move was not a trend move, it was just a spike against the main trend. Here is a better example of a trend:

GBP/USD pinbar, and about 40-50pips until first trouble area. Tight stop management needed on this too.

E/U BEOB. About 40-50pips until the first "trouble" area.

Trade I took earlier which didn't have quite the push I was looking for, so I got my stop to BE. Pinbar off the 61.8 and round 1.65. First problem area was the bar high at 1.6650, overall target was the 1.66 area. When it didn't break the 1.6550 ...

Here is a quick 'day-trading-off-the-daily' trade (as Jim calls it) I took. Two pin bars off a big round number after a break of the round number. Took full profit at the first resistance area-- roughly +45pips.

Assuming we get a good close, this looks like a good short 4h trade.

I am in this 4H PB on AUDUSD on the 50% retrace. Stop at BE now, looking to take a quick profit at the first trouble area.

135 level looks interesting on EURJPY. Some nice confluence.
