- Have you ever played chess? I bet many of you did, but those of you who haven't - it's a game very similar to trading. What chess and trading have in common is they are both strategic games. In other words, if you want to win, you need to have a proper strategy/plan/method. Most people don't have it. They make random moves and wonder why they lose. Like in chess, where you have to carefully watch what moves will your opponent make (and only then play yours), in markets, you have to see what will the market do and then make trades as a reaction to that. As you can see, in both trading and chess we DON'T predict what will happen next (no way we could even if we wanted) - we wait for it to happen, make a plan, and act according to it. Chess is a very interesting game which can help you develop your brain and indirectly improve your trading, too.
