EIA: US natural gas storage down by 36 billion cubic feet
Working natural gas in storage across the United States decreased by 36 billion cubic feet in the week ending March 22 compared to the previous seven-day period to reach 2,296 billion cubic feet, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in its report published on Thursday. On an annual level, the figure improved by 430 billion cubic feet. Additionally, the stockpiles grew by 669 billion cubic feet above the five-year average of 1,627 billion cubic feet. The total working gas was higher than the five-year historical range.
