I publish this thread mostly because I'm exhausted of the brokers pop ups ads promoting their reduced, cutted, melted spreads or whatever they want to call it!
Of course the spread is one thing (of many others!) to take in a count when choosing a broker. But I just wanted to know if there's an effective and trusted way to know which ones are really offering good spreads on the major pairs...without wasting much time researching!
I hope that some more experienced traders can share some references, tips, or useful information on this matter...

Hi Maggie, for real-time spread comparison you can always use the View Live Spread from FF, it's really handy indeed.
And if you want something with more analysis from a third party, I would recommend you Trade Proofer https://tradeproofer.com/articles/be...broker-spreads

You looking for regulated USA broker ?? Or offshore broker ?? Theres some offshore that have like 0 spread or close to it . Oanda here in USA with Commission price is very low spread around 1 pip .

Exactly! That's the first thing to take in account...Are you looking for an USA or offshore broker? Or just references on sites that analyze broker spreads?

Got into that Trade Proofer site you sent, and it seems like IC Markets had the best EURUSD for several weeks in a row https://content.tradeproofer.com/ic-...weeks-running/
I''ll do some research but It's good to know.
I have very good references on that broker...Maybe it's time for me to start using their spreads and make more pips!

I'm at the UK and I'm looking for an "offshore" broker. One that actually offer EURUSD good spreads...
Right now IC Markets has my confidence vote... Any comments about them?

All good Mag! You should definitely go that way and try IC Markets.
I'm with them since more than 3 years and I can say nothing but good things.
Spread is number one, but their client support is excellent even for a spanish speaker like me.
I sound like a broker troll already!

Personally I use Blackwell Global Investments.
