DislikedSo, what happens if we don't act right away, and don't shut down EA in time!!
And we shut down at third candle other color. Well, we still kept half of gains, in this case around 1300 pips.
And that is still very nice, for me anything more than break-even is good.
P.s. No problem Samurai, glad so I can help I bit, and still need to learn much much.

DislikedFirst of all, thank you SamuraiPower for sharing your trading technique
for this EA. I figure if you can read a daily chart, you can make a ton
of money by "driving" this EA to financial freedom. I've got all the components
loaded, so I'm ready to rock this Sunday.

DislikedSorry, what does above 21 mean? Also, do you wait for the white candle to close before going long?Ignored
DislikedI coded a version with auto trend from EMA, so you dont need
to keep a eye on daily chart for the trend......ea will not trade
buy if price is below ema, and will not sell if price is above ema!!!
You just need to input desired ema period in the first variable I added:
extern int MainTrendPeriod = 200; ma period

DislikedI know SamuraiPower has preferred pairs, but would it be a good idea
to go through 10-12 charts, to find those with the strongest trends?
Also, I was wondering if it would be advantageous to pick the best
short pair, and the best long pair, and run the two together. I just
looked at my charts with the template and found good candidates
for both.

DislikedWill this EA continue to open positions in the same direction after the TP or SL has been hit? Or, will it hit the TP or SL and wait for the next signal to open another position? TIA!Ignored

DislikedI have been thinking about this for a while, but not sure I like what I am understanding....
Let's say that you trade with the trend. Okay, a good idae, but that day the pair goes against you. Let's say that it is GbpUsd and moved 400 pips against your trend trade.
Now, every 40 pips that the trade moves against you, it opens another trade with the trend. So, at the end of the day you could literally be down over 2000 pips with 3 trades stoping out at 300 Pips in loss.
Now, the next day the pair trades back with the trend, except it doesn't...Ignored
