I've spent a few years using MT4 as have many people on this forum. It is a simple platform but at times can become difficult and unwieldy especially when monitoring or trading many currencies at one time.
I've found that trading can become overwhelming especially when simple tasks become long and elaborate, such as drawing trendlines, fibos setting alerts etc... and this process is multiplied when working on multiple pairs. So, whereas one ought to be focused on reading the charts, by the time one is ready to read the charts, several bars of price movement will have elapsed and new trendlines have to be drawn and old ones discarded.
Also, there are many custom indicators that are CPU and RAM intensive so having many windows open for many pairs at one time can really slow you down, and possibly crash your computer.
My purpose for opening this thread is to offer some suggestions and to get some ideas on how repetitive tasks can be done quickly and efficiently and a workflow can be hammered out that would allow one to monitor multiple pairs in an efficient, logical and organised manner.
I will start by sharing an indicator called ToolBox I've been writing that allows one to quickly and efficiently draw and remove lines while also being able to set alerts. It has many features that I hope you will find useful.
I will put forward suggestions for a workflow in subsequent posts.

I've made a few modifications, latest indicator (v0.10) attached.
