In 2016, I came to the conclusion that the Quantum indicator is too weak to play the role of the first violin adviser Quantum London Trading.
And now two years I try different options for replacing it.
In the latest versions of EA, I use one TMA indicator, without additional filtering, instead of Quantum .
The correct indicator should work like this:
1. we take a characteristic part of the chart where there are ascending, downtrend and part of flat
2. we optimize EA parameters on this history
3. we check the obtained parameters on a large interval of history.
The main indicator should be profitable in this situation, the rest - is for fine tuning. And Quantum merges on long trends.
Here is an example: the optimization was performed on the interval from April 1 to July 17, 2018, and the test from January 1, 2018 to today. EURUSD, m1, depo=10000, lot =0.1. Orders opened from September 26 can be disregarded, since they are forcibly closed by the tester - the quotes have ended.
Now I will increase the interval and start from July 1, 2017.
