Big Player Ping Pong Strategy

The supervisory authorities have no chance in the foreseeable future, because how they want to check container loads full of paper, with the respective transactions.

Michael I would like to say something in response to your "Margin call" post and video. I know that you consider many of these things to be just an opinion but there is a real problem in the world today with people using an opinion as something more, merely because they have some facts beside them. I've been trading for a while and my experience has shown me that people who say that leverage is useful and "good" etc, clearly are lacking certain experience/s. I consider leverage to be the "free champagne drink" one is offered at a casino when first sitting down at their gambling game of choice. Why? If you've ever had an alcoholic drink long after a meal or on an empty stomach then you would know it very quickly goes to your head, lowers inhibitions and ultimately makes the person "relax" their perception and guard ....... therefore more easily pliable and suggestive. So from my experience leverage is a hammer someone tries to use when applying surgical strategies.

One severe problem with all this is, the people with the real experience are not being listened to, their advice not being heeded and instead most believe a convincing argument that is not based on how the real world works, but based on information that is more akin to a closed circuit. A simple yet overlooked or unknown fact = brokers are NOT legally responsible if a stop loss is not appropriately triggered at any time, not only during "black swan events and their after effects". Simply put, people (consumers) do not see that money markets are not for people who "play fair" or even want to play fair or, more importantly, "hope to have a long and enjoyable experience in trading or investing". Most people believe the modern "stuff" about trading and money yet wonder why static strategies have a limited lifespan.

Another issue is, trying to justify leverage's use/overuse when reality beyond number crunching is not properly considered. Every generation there are people who try to educate people on WHO creates/d leverage and why. In your video you have misrepresented real life. ANY form of compounded compensation / recompensation is a form of determined interest and it bears the very same qualities of value regardless of what form it comes in. When you gain beyond your initial investment or injection of commitment or circumstances, you are compounding value and its variations and this creates an amplified outcome. Eg. - high leverage trade, accident compensation claim.

People do not understand that "interest" is a form of involvement and, it is a form of insurance: Insurance being one of the oldest industries in the history of civilization on this planet. On this point, no one's opinion is driving this fact of life, especially not mine. Everyone has open access to study it themselves and learn it for themself. Therefore "money" is NOT what people think it is. Nor is leverage.

I want to say here, this is not an attack on you. Merely to show that high OR low leverage has nothing to do with trading. ONLY someone gambling with the idea that one is in control of something outside themself. Entity traders do not trade the same way a private individual trader would. This is because they are told or shown what is expected or needed. They do not set the terms of "interest".

I write this to show people that real traders have learned the "game". Others have not. AND never operate with the assumption of what money "is" or leverage "is" or a margin call "is". Leverage is "offered" to see who is stupid enough to believe what they are told and taught.

One would merely need to check the following boxes with a tick or cross......

1. Do I control the market I access?
2. Do I BELIEVE I can control the market I access?

You might say "the answer is obvious." But now use it as a working living principle with your trading from top to bottom and see what you would need to change......in the context of a wake up call or reality check.

Unless a person has actually experienced a real margin call, where they owe more than they started with in the account, I really should only hear crickets in the background.

Trading is very much about you, the market you access and THEN .....-> you do everything you can to get everyone in the middle OUT OF THE WAY. Period. Same traps as horse race betting, casino games, russian roulette etc.

I see this as a chance for people to learn instead of assuming everyone has little/no experience and LOTS of opinions and LOTS to say and therefore we should all just hold hands and sing Kumbiyah because we're all in agreement. I could have written this in a private message to you, but frankly, the misrepresentations on all this are so widespread, I needed to speak of these things so people understand this kind of thing a lot better.

People justifying the use of leverage need to ask better questions and people who are still learning, need to appreciate that it's NOT what most think it is. Not the people on these sites or "babypips" and all the rest of them. On a post I recently and quickly wrote, I tried to point out specific elements/markers one can use. Maybe people need to go and read it and leave the assumptions in bed.

Most people I have met, assume "their niche of knowledge" is good enough. Unfortunately, not even by half is it good enough.
