Ahhh, I do miss Level 2 data on stocks and futures, although to be honest Futures it flys by so far, you just get dizzy and never place trades.

Ahhh Twoblink, I must confess. I did draw a trendline today. And while I'm spilling the can of beans I'll admit, I drew a fib the other day.
I know, I know, solumn confessions.
It was on my chart for about 5 seconds. I wouldn't think about trading off of that info though, although a year ago I would of. If you look at charts long enough, as many of us have, you can see the fib retracement leves on a chart without having to draw them. Then it's fun to draw it, and see how close your eyeball was.
After a short time experimenting w/EAs in MT4 i'm beginning to think that i can't compete w/the bots performance so i might be seeing more images with the little smilie face in the upper right corner of my charts...

Some of us are very curious about how you are able to see 'order flow' and 'liquidity' in the Forex markets. Any hint?
oh, sometime maybe you can pm me. are you using thirds instead?

You need to follow certain news feeds like Coesfx and see where options and stops are residing... There was once a thread about all this, but it went away.. That is all I know, Scott

That's not seeing order flow. At least, it's not _really_ seeing order flow.

It can't be done in forex right now. With Coes, all your seeing is their books through their bank(s) that their orders are going to... that's not even close to the whole picture for the entire market...

That's like trying to fight the entire war in Iraq through binoculars...

Now, whether that's good enough -- I don't know.

Well I would agree that it is not exactly order flow. In my opinion, that is splitting hairs though, because the data serves the same purpose and is highly tradeable. It it is very profitable and very reliable, and requires very little effort to trade once one understands what the trade looks like.
