Not sure why you need source to do back testing. Not a chance to share the source code. By back testing or demo it live, you will know how the EA works. Once it is out, some people will do whatever they want to do with it. you know what I mean.
WIth backtesting, I do not use Metatrader as it is inconsistent and time-consuming.
To implement it in my software, I have to basically convert the MQL to C#.

If you do not want share, it is understandable

what platform you use for backtesting?

It should have a buy order there. It must have failed to open buy order.

Sorry guys but I have to disappoint you, pure GRID systems do not work in the long term. This EA will blow your account sooner or later. It will work for some period of time, it can be weeks, months, a few years, and when you will start getting excited, a cold shower - boom, you blew your account. The longer you trade, the bigger chance this to happen. Look at monthly chart of any pair. Imagine this EA opens a grid at the start of a strong move (in wrong direction) that lasts for years, imagine paying swaps for 5 years while having losing positions...
You either not read this thread or don't know what this EA does.

What about the next period and the next ... and the next ?
The market will change and the system will get "hot", the draw down will increase until it crashes the account.
If you backtest your system and you see this:

It means it's running too hot and won't last

It would need to cool down when it gets too hot.
Here is an example (3 years GBPUSD, max DD 30%) ==> key factors to improve over greater time periods (++Years!): more profits, less DD

Wow. if EA can survive over three years of Brexit with more than 500% return (3 years), for me it is a holy grail. Anyway, there is no Holy Grail and don't spend time to look for it.

"Trading Forex involves high Risk and you may lose all your money....". Sound familiar? You are already warned on the page 1 you could blow your account by using this EA.

EA have been designed to profit from market up and down by deploying two grids at the same time to minimize DD. Grid spacing is dynamically adapted to market condition. if you have any good idea how to improve the EA, I am listening.
