Disliked{quote} PayTheLimit, how are you able to successfully keep your nerves in check? I've had a couple scalps that I've taken reverse on me, which I've then held until they reach slightly above BE, and closed the trade for a slight profit, only to see the price action run in the direction I originally thought it would. Are you entering your trades either expecting to hit your predetermined TP or SL, with no exceptions?Ignored
Disliked{quote} You have to have an out my friend, cause one of those times a trade never comes back, then you got problems. Always have an out.Ignored
Disliked{quote} My first account was blown because I never placed a SL (I was a newbie trader who thought they knew everything), but now I'm worried that I place my stops too close and get hit too often. When I scalp I aim to rake in 5 pips, using a 10 pip SL. I'm wondering if this is too tight? How do you determine the amount of risk that you are willing to take on when you scalp? (Not trying to hijack your thread, just asking a question about your trading method )Ignored
