Minimum trades should be in the yearly range. 10 - 20 per year, but I'd personally be fine with 1.

Someone that takes 1 trade for 10% vs someone that takes 10 trades for 1% is still just 10% up at the end of the contest. ROI and Servivability is all that matters, not trade number. The only people that should be interested in trading frequency are broker dealers to get commissions. Trading less = less commissions / spread and that increases your ROI. Fact.

I would suggest a minimum deposit though....either way I'm game.

There is a proposal of minimum of 20 trades per year. I hope that is OK?

I will build a system for an easy tracking of how each participant performs. It will be a basic one. Unless FF delivers a subdomain or a folder, it will be on outside domain with no ads or whatever. Just pure charts of performance only. SO we can see who is who and what he/she is capable of...

Why you don't enlarge it to parse the TE open trades too? ...

It's a very old idea and haven't yet found it implemented: a html parser that will read the TE and check each one's open trades ... nice no? and supposing that in here only la creme de la creme is present ... hehe. Yes, there is a delay in TE getting the trades but not everyone is scalping under 1min ... and why not opening a position at a better place as not everybody is 100% accurate.

If not yet existent, I might do it pour l'amour de l'art.
I hope I didn't destroyed the enthusiasm over this competition.

You are absolutely right. We want to see the trader is actually skillful. So 1 trade per pair should be OK? 20 pairs. Place one trade each at 10% return. You got yourself 200% profit. Hats off. That is how I see it...

I disagree. My expert is my strategy. It is how I would have traded manually. But because there are servers, the server is doing it for me.

Also, unlike me, the expert follows the rules, while I tend to bend them.

My Expert is BETTER then me, simply put, cause she does not care. Rule is a rule. Execute it.

I could not get your idea because of the french words. I cant read french. Can you please explain?

I plan our developer to get the data with an HTML parser and then use some charting framework to visualize it. Will store the data in some MySQL database. That's the plan. I sense FF might have something against that and will kindly ask them, if they want to keep the traffic on their domain, which would be the best solution for everybody.

We will build a system that records the annual % gained only. But we need FF opinion on the matter, too. It is good their traffic remains their. Not that I do intend to do anything with it, but to remove all eventual suspicions out of my shoulder. There should be a centralized view for the participants TEs and there is no such option here at the moment...

I will go over these tomorrow. I have not read them yet.

Do not want to delude or lie to you. If you want the EAs banned, that is not the tread where such thing will happen. I have put over 160k in strategies development and that is my way of trading. Money in the account is all that matters. Manual/automatic does not matter. Banks are also trading with algos...
