Disliked{quote} I read somewhere that pro version of Blessing turn off trading on fridays and during slow period and before news. Is it correct?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Nope. You need an MT5 specific EA. And the Blessing EA version we have is already EOL (End-Of-Life) meaning there is no support nor upgrade for it.Ignored
DislikedI was looking around for actual reviews of Blessings on "live" and found the following (see screenshot). The 1st Reviewer seemed like he had done it correctly and conservatively and even just used the "free" set and with ample margin for a micro lot. And grown it to 26.58%. I've downloaded the set file and did a case study and ran a backtest from Oct 2014 to Oct 2017 (when he posted his review) and my result was very close but a bit short - I used 3 pip spread but I reckon his broker is giving 2.5/2.6 spread. DislikedSo here goes a test live with a 96K account. Will start small using only EU and GU. At the end of the month will give an update. Disliked{quote} It is very decent! Unlike most EAs out there. However, I believe it can be much much better. The beauty of Blessing is also its downfall - the plethora of customization of parameters. So taking good chunks of subroutines from Blessing and incorporating it into a new EA, adding filters which are not in Blessing, and making the common parameters shared among the setfiles into a fixed ones instead would make a better EA.Ignored
Dislikedah Java. It is nice but it has been what...10 or 12 years since I last touched a Java code. Now the framework has evolved into something alien to me like React, Angular, Spring, etc. As a software engineer, I used to learn those things and keep up with the tech with passion, until recently companies began outsourcing development work to "cheap" countries. Will jforex be a "trend"? 8 years ago MT4 suddenly became a trend. But they said MT5 will soon take over in a couple of years, and NT would compete against it. Fast forward today, there is still...Ignored
