Disliked{quote} well, so why there is deal and no deal?if the effects are the same for cableIgnored
They rejected the deal that they have been working/wasting time on for past 2 years in last nights vote.
The vote tonight is do we rule a out a Hard Exit from the EU.
If they rule out hard exit/brexit, this should be good for GBP as this effectively means we stay in EU longer until deal is sorted(more voting) or another referendum(more voting) with a strong chance we stay in the EU and not leave at all.
If they dont rule out a hard exit tonight, then this should be bad for GBP as we are getting closer to the 29th march deadline and hard exit without any deal or preparations is still on the table.
Thats what I would expect to happen, but the market may have already priced in. Either way tonight's vote is the big one which should give some strong moves either way, depending on the result.
