Powerful Pivot Point Trading Strategy

Hey traders,

Today I would like to share a trading strategy that I've been back/forward testing for a couple of months.

This is a day trading trend strategy that identifies an established trend, and waits for a pull back to the daily pivot.

As with all my strategy videos, I walk you through step by step:

1) The Setup
2) Entry
3) Take Profit Targets
4) Stop Loss Placement
5) Lots of examples

Indicators needed are EMAs and a pivot point indicator. I've attached a zip file with a pivot point indicator and the MT4 template so your charts are ready to go!

Thank you for this strategy and the video, very clear explanation. This strategy is not subjective.

One person on youtube said to use TDI with only the green and red lines, it will keep us out of bad trades. He didn't explain how to use the lines as filter.

Great... add a couple of indicators more and then you have a winning strategy

It seems simpler than the appearance. But it's nothing legal like I said. I haven't tested it so I have to wait for the results. I put in two lines that are meant to intersect. One of the lines generates green color, i.e. increase, red - decrease. And yellow stagnation. in my opinion, the normal black line MA must intersect in the yellow place. I'm still working on it.

After going over all 28 majors, for today (Monday, 28 Sept), Benchmarks start to appear.

• Basic rules, as put forth by OGT, look very good.
-- Some potential additions;
•• Using GMMA's to trigger stops, can save significant pips. This could be a MAJOR asset.
..... Losses due to price going opposite rule based entries, tend to be about 1/3 full stops to R1 or S1, with no apparent negative affect on overall trade performance.

••• If price does go in opposite direction, very early in session, trading NEW direction may work out.

I used a different Pivot Point Indicator, for visual effect. Please always defer to OGT's techniques. He's quite brilliant.

GbpAud hit TP1, and very close to TP2.

Even though complete moving average cross didn't happen until the new day began, price was trending down strongly.

NzdJpy would have qualified, However... entry would have been During Rollover, with spreads likely, over 5 pips, and R1 only about 15 pips away. And uptrend was not very strong looking.

Hi Daniel. Not using price alerts. Currently formulating a mostly 'Set & Forget' methodology. Will possibly provide that info here, if it's not a problem with OGT.

Regarding "app/site" question, not clear on what you're asking.
