Ok so I am new to Mac's ( just got my first one Thursday its a Macbook Pro) and know nothing about how they work or anything. That being said I have been using MT4 for over a year now and I got it working on this Mac in less than 30 minutes.
I was going to buy Parallels based on the reviews I read but was very hesitant at the $80 price tag. Plus MT4 and Internet explorer are really the only reasons I wanted windows on the Mac anyway. So I tried Virtual Box instead first since it is free, I figured why not try that and if It does not work then I can buy Parallels. Well I am happy to say that virtual box works like a charm! Very easy to set up , it is pretty much idiot proof it walks you through everything step by step. I know putting windows on a Mac kind of goes against having a Mac but until they come out with MT for Macs it works great for me.
So if you want MT4 on your Mac just get a copy of windows ( easily found online if you know where to look) and get virtual box and you should be good to go!
