Seems to be working!

What I am doing now I would call aggresive scalping. Instead of trading with all the same colors, I am trading the extremes. More risky, but more trades. Let's see how this plays out at the end of the day.

The only reason this one is running against me is that we had loadshedding when I should have closed the order & take a good profit. (We now have loadshediing four times a day in South Africa).

No problem though. I will keep the trade open and as soon as it turns around (which should be any time now) I'll open another sell trade and take the profit of both at the right time.

Closed this one as a loss caused by loadshedding. As soon as it turns around, I'll open another sell and claim back my lost equity.

Closed it just too soon. Going my way again. Hopefully I'll recover my loss caused by loadshedding.

I intend to use this for conservative scalping, but first I'll create an EA for it as it will take fewer trades. I'll put the EA on all 28 pairs to make up for it. It seems as if my ideas are coming together now. Let's wait & see.

Rules for this strategy it seems:

Conservative approach

1. I use the first template to find suitable extreme postions, but I do not as yet place the trade.

2. I use the second template to open & manage the trade. It HAS to be just above an SR line else I will not place the trade.

3. I place my SL just below the SR line and my TP as per #post 65. I verify that the TP position is close to a SR line on the second template.

4. There should be no other SR lines present between your new trade and your intended TP level. If there are, skip the trade.

Seems to work well as I am mostly trading against the main trend. I find myself in the green almost immediately using the above method. Off course I have to monitor these trades carefully as it is not guarranteed to reach the TP as set above every single time.

You will see on the second template that there is no indication for the possibily of a counter trade. Only the first template would show this and then you'll have to proceed against your instincts if you want to trade this specific strategy. I will eventually be able to state the success rate with this strategy as I use it more - remember I am also learning as I am experimenting & trading live on a VERY small account with this. So if it works out for me, then you all know that this REALLY works.

I am desperate to find something that REALLY makes money from a small account only and hence this experiment. My idea was to get your opinions & suggestions on how to move this forward, but I find myself mostly on my own over here as I have no track record of success behind me. So I've started this topic & out of courtesy I'll keep on posting my results, findings & new discoveries as my journey continues. Rest assured, I WILL be part of the 5% that makes a living out of trading as life left me no other option for the moment. So bear with me if you find anything of interest over here. You can see that if you leave the trade open long enough, it will eventually go your way and hit your TP. Only problem is that the Market Movers WILL take out your SL along the way.

I think the solution to this would be to place a Limit Buy or Limit Sell order somewhere above or below your SL so that if they DO take you out, it will open a new trade in your original direction as soon as things normalize again.

If you are in front of your screen when this happens then of course you can make good money from their manipulation by opening a counter trade at the xtreme of their artificial spike. I've read many times & also observed first hand & also made money first hand from this proving for myself that what goes up must come down & what goes down must come up.

Already one out of three was successful. This specific one is playing hard to get, but divergence indicates in my favor so I opened a second trade in the same direction. Let's see how this turns out.

Last one seems to be coming around. Hopefully all will work out well. I hope it turns before 17h00 as then we will have our third session of loadshedding for the day. First session we were out for four hours, second session two hours, and at 17h00 another two hours. Hard to scalp under these conditions.

SUCCESS!!!

All my trades for today was successful!!! I cannot show the results as we've just come out of another two hours of loadshedding & I've lost all my history. The last super stubborn trade turned my way during all of this and both trades on this pair hit it's TP targets.

If you compare this to my screenshot of before you'll see that all worked out well as anticipated. Also, my suggested TP position was spot-on.

I honestly feel like I'm onto something special. Using two different templates seem to do the trick. I am at last constantly growing my small trading account. I am beginning to loose my fear of trading. I'll keep you posted with the next few days worth of trades to prove my point.

SUCCESS!!!

Just finished with a four hour load shedding exercise. My trade history is gone. All I can offer is my account balance as proof of my 100% SUCCESS RATE!!!. I'll post some pics and then you can compare with the ones above for a comparison.

FINALLY!!! I have a working strategy with a VERY LOW DD!!!

Two days ago my account balance was just over 30 USD. Look at it now. Yes, it is peanuts for most of you - for me this is MAJOR!!! After all these years I am finally growing my account. For the first time I have an account balance that allows me to trade without biting my finger nails all the time.

No more posting a different template every day. I have arrived! My expiriments worked and now I have my very own strategy to my very own liking suitable for my very small trading account.

Thank you for following me on this desperate short quest to success. I think that my life is about to change. All these years I waited and expected to be blessed by someone else cause I blessed so many others in my life span. Turns out life gave me the wisdom to bless myself!

THINGS ARE FINALLY WORKING OUT FOR ME!!!.

Thank you Lord - I desperately prayed for wisdom & You gave it to me. My future is no longer dependant on the kindness of others. Sowed so many vehicles only to find myself walking for the last few years. ALL OF THAT IS ABOUT TO CHANGE!!! I WILL be yet another successful Forex Trader making a good living from this. Maybe even from a NEEL trimaran somewhere on the ocean.

1. Next round I'll up my lot size ever so slightly.
2. Also I'll start placing limit orders not too far from my SL to cater for the SL hunters (the Market Movers that is)
3. And just maybe I will not prematurely close my orders at the weak SR lines like I do now.

Update:

There are many different ways to trade with these templates. I am discovering more as I go. See how many trades I've already placed this morning. We have another four hour blackout soon (07h00), so I have to get as many orders placed as I can.
