First of all, a repainting indicator isn't an indicator changes colors, its that the inputs that generate the picture output change, which end up in making the indicators more perfect than they are, which could make you believe that they're the holy grail of indicators, but they will just hurt your capital.

TDI is a repainting indicator

It's hard to explain a repainting indicator, heres a video all about them, this guy covers a system based entirely on indicators, which y'all are trying to accomplish but the only difference is, if you make a system based on his stuff, it WILL benefit you long term, unlike repainting indicators. Watch his vid to learn about them.

And if you wanna see if your indicator is repainting, go on 1 min timeframe, record your metatrader and look for changes in the indicator.

Its not hard to explain a repainting indicator, its an indicator that looks different in real time to what it later looks like when the chart is refreshed. That isn't a problem if unless you want to use it for backtesting. I am not sure why you chose this forum to come into, this system does not look at crossovers of an indicator for entries, and if you did what I suggested and looked at pips29's back posts you might notice he doesn't need help from anybody as far as his trading goes, he is one of the most consistent traders on Forex factory (of those that actually post trades as they put them in). Good advert though for the person who makes the videos.
okay, well I just gave in my insight from personal experience, will this experience happen to you, probably not I don't know i cannot predict the future. But yeah just stay safe I guess.
Hello everyone, I'm just noticing that even though my trades are derived from the basic structure of the strategy, they often don't correspond to the actual rules. My entries are usually earlier during pullbacks in the main direction of the trend I think I'm seeing. Basically I try to trade away from the pivot, but I don't really pay attention to cci and tdi at the moment. So I wanted to ask if I should post these types of trades to this channel at all, as I don't want to flood the channel with irrelevant news. In today's trades I have now taken all BE and half or have already taken the TP. USDCHF I was probably wrong in my view of the trend.

On htf and ltf cable is looking likely to drop further to the levels I 've plotted on my chart. My bias is to short when the set up is there on M5 or M15

If you have both Trade Levels and Trade History selected, then the trade levels and trade history will show when you load the chart.

Otherwise, you need to go to that chart properties to click on the Trade Levels ...

I have this setting on, btw do you have the daily open indicator for MT5?

I have simplified the strategy further by adding in a 200 simple moving average. If you are trading the ltf look for entry away from this MA. Also don't forget to use the cci and/or tdi to support the entry besides the 10/34 ema set up..it cannot be simpler to make some pips

the chart gives you a set up short and since I like to trade away from the pivot the entry as shown by the red line might be slightly later than the set up but it's ok with me. Later on you will see an arrow printed for the upside but I would not go long as it's against the 200ma,M15 ema and also the pivot. Experienced traders might take a long as price seem extended to them but being a trend trader you should refrain from such thoughts. Hope you remember this well known saying "the market can remain irrational far longer than you can remain solvent". If you are a billionaire I guess it will not apply to you. I'm just a trader trying to get some free meals

Hi Pips,
I see the resistance drawn, but at that point the two 10/34 EMAs were in the upward crossover the cci points up, and the current value was still above the pivot, even the entry candle had formed a new high. How can you still magically get started like you did?
