Edit: No gap in the underlying market itself. I can't tell you how this works. I am new to it myself.
Here's IG.

Disliked{quote} Hi "Iddd" I saw your posting of the dividend adjustment sheet. I can't find this list on IC Markets. Please could you explain the matter to me. My broker is IC Markets Global. Today, when the FTSE 100 dividend was adjusted, there was no price change on my platform. What could be wrong with my platform?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hopefully it is on it's way, although I will bail at 8352 as I dont want any risk of not closing due to the spread.Ignored
Disliked{quote} You added to your position right ? if you did you should be in profit nowIgnored
Disliked{quote} Dividend is @4.30 UK time, so you buy ftse @4.29,55seconds then start to add positions after the dropIgnored
Disliked{quote} Yep, building on blind faith (... blind faith = back testing stats)Ignored
Disliked{quote} Why there is no gap in the index itself? My other broker told me they will debit/credit the P/L manually for the dividend but there is no gap in their price feed that you could trade. I also can’t see any gap with Oanda, FXCM and any other broker i looked at. Maybe exclusively to IG? Why they do this?Ignored

Disliked{quote} I mainly trade FTSE and have done for over 20yrs i think. But you can trade any other index dividendsIgnored
Disliked{quote} Zakaj v samem indeksu ni vrzeli? Zakaj to počnejo?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Looks like only IG has a gap. At my broker, the price did not drop even by 1 point. Dividends are paid if you keep the position open while the server rests.Ignored
{image} {image}Ignored
