For lack of better title, I chose the "EMA & RSI Intraday M15 system".

I seek help from everyone on this system, please do not be shy, share your screenshots and experience. Lets make this a system we can use.

Once someone told me, it was difficult to make 10 pips a day, consistently. I think, its possible. In my search for such a system that would give me 10 pips a day, I share this system with you all. Please help make this system better.

I do not want to clutter the system with too many indicators, but if you think an indicator would help, please feel free to share and let us all test.

About EA on this system, I do not know coding much. We can think of that later.

Disclaimer: I am just sharing a system, trade at your own risk.

OK. So here is the deal :

1. M15 EURUSD. You can test this on other currencies at your own risk.

2. EMA 5 & 12 , applied to close.

3. RSI 7 , level of 50.

LONG : when EMA 5 crosses UP of EMA 12 & RSI is higher then 50.

SHORT ; when EMA 5 corsses DOWN of EMA 12 & RSI is below 50.

Takeprofit : 10-30 pips

Stoploss : 20 pips or low of previous candle when long, high of previous candle when short.

I guess you meant, forget the EA.

Because from where I stand, I am reading charts, right?

Or you meant to say, that EMA and RSI should also be neglected?

Was the first of my trading strategies i have to say, and at the beggining was quite ok, but not for long...

RSI moves a lot specially in graphs like 15m and a period of 7, try ur strategy on 1hour and change your EMA to 13 and 50 or something longer and RSI period more than 30's...that will give u more reliable data...or if u want to stick to RSI period of 7, go to a level of 30 for selling and 70 for buying...

I have a similar strategy. trades on 16-09-2011.

For me it must also be the first candle above 50 and I use RSI 8 and EMA100 for trend.

i rather suggest you to use normal 14 period rsi along with bollinger bands and macd set to period 12,26,9....
for longs: price action should penetrate lower bb and rsi should be below 30..then we go long by the upward coss of macd.......
for short: pa should breach upper bb and rsi should be above 70...then go short by the downward cross of macd

It appears you are using the same system TEB63 is using, or at the very least, what he was using.

Also, it would be recommended to have another moving average if you are not going to use MTF, probably 50ema, or 100ema or 200ema...choose your dose....

Dont bother making an EA about such a system. The human brain is always better than an EA. if you want to use an EA to enter a trade, as in to automatically set your TP and SL or to be able to move TP/SL on the chart, by all means, go ahead!

And finally, dont bother asking for a better indicator....the indicators you have are enough....you just need enough screen time to see how your indicators react to price and vice versa. If you want your trading to be successful, please, stick with the system you have.

If you ask me which system I am using, it is Niceguy Ridiculous 7 Pips Trading System(http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=279970). Of course, I modded what had to be modded to make it my own or at least with what I am comfortable with, for instance, I use only one window indicator(RSI 20) and 3 emas. thats is about it.

Thanks for your inputs. I will check this thread this evening.

I also checked Niceguy's system, but for me it does not give regular trades, and too much choppiness at M5.
