DislikedAnd what method you suggest we learn to trade like a real trader Steve.
I kindly like to hear your opinion more on TMA on the extreme TMA thread.

Look at "Backing Trades through Charts" in the commercial section. Look at Petar Serbia's "art of trading thread". Look at Tarantula's "Spider's Den" thread. Look at AmyC's trading journal.
You will find sound methodologies in all of them. Contrary trading is fine, just throw away the stretchy lines and trade real technicals.
Ultimately after enough knowledge is there trading should be somewhat of an individual/creative endeavor. You see what you see on your own, and not everybody sees the same thing all the time.
For all I know you see something special in the stretchy lines that I didn't or don't see. If you're making big percentages every week and you're not on a bust cycle/taking big DD's then don't allow me to interfere.
After all I'm just giving my best advice to someone who asked me a question in one of my old, old threads, no purpose beyond that. TMA's are not for me, never worked for me in the long run, and I don't see as how they will for others people. I honestly can't recommend them, at least as the central feature in a strategy. And I have no use for them as a peripheral feature.
Anyway, I will confine my comments to this thread on this matter. I have no wish to go into someone else's space and bring some hard line about how the method they've chosen to put all their energy into doesn't work, out of a basic respect for the forum. The invitation to do so seems somewhat-well it makes it seem as if you are looking for a fight, just on your own ground.
In any case, whatever your motives might be, you can take my suggestions about which methods and threads to investigate in order to learn solid trading methods as sincere ones. Best of luck.
