Hi Guys, i've been reading some books related to trading and often came across the concept of 'Price Swing' and 'Wave swing'.
For example, to plot Median lines, we need to look at Price Swings.. and when it comes to Elliott Waves, we need to look at Wave Swings.
In the book, Mastering Elliott Wave principles, by Constance Brown, he mentions not to get confused between Price Swings and Wave Swings, but doesn't quite explain the two.
Below is a chart and I'd appreciation if someone who knows the above could answer. Am I right in assuming that the black check and cross sign markets the 'Price Swing' because we see a price reversal within the bigger wave, marked by the red thumbs up/down picture?
Also, does this mean that price swing often happens within a wave swing, but wave swing does not happen within a price swing?
Please advise.
