Firstly, I don't set myself a limit as to how much to earn. When I started trading, all I ever want is to earn consistently.
I started trading somewhere in December 2011 when one of my friend brought me along with him to some forex courses. From then, I started falling in love with trading not because of the money earn but the challenge to try to conquer the market.
During the first year of trading, 2 of my accounts were wiped out. Then, I started learning the art of money management, being discipline and ultimately to convince myself, you have to accept defeat in this game of trading.
From 2013 onwards, I start making green pips consistently. The fear of losing has long faded. I became more discipline and careful.
2 months ago, I started a new ECN account to test a system which I called the "The Hybrid Theory" whereby I combined few systems that I have learned into one to confirm the entry and exit of my trades. The core of this system is Price Action.
I set myself an aim of hitting 1000%. At the moment, I have reached 500% in 54 days. I don't really set myself a time period when I should be hitting 1000% but hopefully I can do it before Christmas and get myself some really nice Christmas present.
Aim of Journal:
1. Human are very forgetful and most of time easily sway by emotion. I need a place to remind myself my goal and my rules.
2. You learn from your mistake. I hope I am able to analyze what went wrong with my trades so that I wont be repeating the same mistake in future.
3. I need my own "me" time in a space belong to myself to vent my frustration, to moan and probably to celebrate
I will put up my TE for 1 week before taking off next week.
Those who are patience in trading always get rewards. Happy green pipping, mates!
