DislikedSorry to be hijacking a thread but being a new member I cannot start a thread and I have a question! I got a custom indicator coded and it seems to be working fine but when I try to run alter some of the measurements to get me more dialled in to what I want, the strategy tester will not run with the alterations. I have been going back into the source coding to make the adjustments but nothing seems to work. any advice would be appreciatedIgnored
DislikedSorry I posted late at night in a hurry. As for putting my indicator up, I will try to attach it but my computer will not load this website(Apple......) I am posting from an iPad which doesn't have the indicator on it. The indictator uses trend by angle measurements on EMAs. What I was trying to do was alter the length of the measurements the trend by angle was taking. The indicator works in the stately tester but any alterations to the parameters I do will not take effect in the stately tester.Ignored
Disliked{quote} If you're still into the indicator, please download here. It is encoded with alert if you wanted to. Coded by mladen. {image} {file} Enjoy!Ignored
DislikedThe indicator itself works fine. It's doing what it's supposed to do. I just can't figure out why when I attempt to altwr the parameter for the length of measurement in the strategy tester it will not run with the altered length in the tester. If in testing, you find you need to alter the parameters of any EA or indicator, do you use the "alter indicator " button or do you go into the source code itself? Im not after another indicator, this one is exactly what I want!Ignored

Disliked{quote} Sixer Non-repainting centered TMA is LWMA. Some more explanation about it can be found here : triangular moving average ___________________________ But I must say that centered TMA can (and is) causing "dual personality disorder" sometimes It recalculates. But regardless of that, it would not be prudent to dismiss all the Brian Millard and J.M.Hurst have done to make it usable in trading. Hence I would recommend to anybody that wants to use it in trading...Ignored
